so, i went to see pavement last night at london's brixton academy and man, it was just like the good old days. if you're too young to remember pavement or haven't a clue who they are then i suggest you do your homework on them as they were pretty much the post nirvana, plaid shirt wearing, slacker band of the 1990's. anyways, they're back for a reunion tour, ramshackle as ever but they can still bang out a joyous three minute piece of pop/indie perfection like nobody's business. and what's more, percussionist and all round maverick, bob nastanovich, was wearing red g4's. what are the chances eh?
